Iraqi armed group Popular Mobilization Units, also known as Hashd al-Sha’abi, sent its fighters and military hardware to the borders with Syria. The group said move in a bid to reinforce the frontier as part of the Nineveh Sector Operations. Move came days after Syrian rebel groups toppled the Assad Govt earlier this month. Watch.
