मुंबई के चर्चगेट स्थित स्टारबक्स कैफे पर शिवसेना उद्धव गुट के कार्यकर्ताओं ने हमला किया. अंग्रेजी में लिखे बोर्ड पर काली स्याही पोती गई और जमकर हंगामा किया गया. कार्यकर्ताओं का आरोप था कि बोर्ड मराठी में नहीं लिखा गया. पुलिस ने कई कार्यकर्ताओं को हिरासत में लिया है. यह घटना महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा चुनाव के बाद बीएमसी चुनाव से पहले मराठी मुद्दे को उठाने की कोशिश मानी जा रही है. शिवसेना उद्धव गुट अपने जनाधार को मजबूत करने की कोशिश में है.
