संभल में लाडम सराय मस्जिद से करीब 50 मीटर की दूरी पर एक और प्राचीन कुआं मिला है.. लेकिन जब कुएं की खुदाई शुरु हुई तो स्थानीय लोगों ने विरोध कर दिया.. जिसके बाद टकराव की स्थिति पैदा हो गई.. विरोध के चलते 1 घंटे से से ज्यादा खुदाई का काम रोकना पड़ गया.. इसके बाद पुलिस और सुरक्षा बलों ने स्थानीय लोगों को समझ बुझाकर पीछे किया.. तब जाकरखुदाई शुरू हो पाई.. बताया जा रहा है कि स्थानीय लोगों ने इस कुएं में कूड़ा भर दिया था..
