Hamas has claimed responsibility for the deadly shooting attack on January 6 in the West Bank village of al-Funduq, where three Israelis, including two women and a police officer, were killed. The attack was carried out by Hamas' military wing, the Al-Qassam Brigades, alongside the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. Hamas identified Jaafar Ahmed Dababseh as the mastermind behind the operation, though he was killed by IDF troops in the village of Talluza on January 8. The shooters remain at large.
