प्रयागराज में होने वाले महाकुंभ मेले में मुस्लिमों की एंट्री को लेकर विवाद छिड़ गया है. शंकराचार्य स्वामी सदानंद सरस्वती ने कहा कि जो वंदे मातरम नहीं बोलते, उन्हें महाकुंभ में प्रवेश क्यों दिया जाए? भारतीय अखाड़ा परिषद ने भी सिर्फ सनातनियों की एंट्री का प्रस्ताव पास किया है. मौलाना शहाबुद्दीन रिजवी ने पहले प्रयागराज की जमीन को अपना बताया, लेकिन बाद में कहा कि मुस्लिम समुदाय श्रद्धालुओं पर पुष्प वर्षा करेगा. संतों का कहना है कि महाकुंभ सनातन का मेला है और यहाँ सनातन को न मानने वालों की एंट्री नहीं होनी चाहिए.
